Sneaker Foot Tattoos The Next Trend

Flickr

Do you love your sneakers so much that you get them tattooed on your feet?  No need to purchase another pair but you will be stuck with that colorway. One brand wanted to convince you their sneaker is well worth the permanent stay on your feet.  I have yet to find someone willing and crazy enough to go that far with their love for sneakers but one day soon what is crazy to me will be the new thing to do.

Converse almost ran an ad that showed a man getting a pair of Chuck Taylor All-Star’s tatted on his feet.  The actor in the video seemed to enjoy his life-time pair so much that he left his real pair behind in the tattoo parlor.  Judging from the images above, the inspiration was taken from this video.  How else would you explain it?  Passion and love for sneakers!

One thing you quickly learn about sneakerheads, we really love our sneakers and love to express our love for them.  Sneakers and tattoos are a form of self-expression and could easily become a new trend.  I can see it now, sneakerheads getting their grails tatted on their feet.  Sneaker brands would be in a fantasy dream to see consumer going that far and helping them promote the product.  Remember you heard it here first.

Thank God Converse didn’t run this ad or even execute a marketing campaign around tattooing sneakers on the feet of consumers.  I don’t think any brand is worth tattooing on your feet but we all know for the right price that would change.   So I pose this question.  For the right price, what brand of sneakers would get tattooed on your feet?  Drop a line or two in the comment section below.
