When asked about the inspiration behind the song, Greg Joslin responded saying,

“Mainly progress in one’s self, I went through a lot of changes in my life through the past few years.

Bettering myself, pushing people out of my life who didn’t deserve to be there.

Focusing on the bigger picture and making it happen, instead of making excuses like the many people around me do on a daily basis.”
